Bobby, a car enthusiast from the UK, ordered a unique makeover of her old BMW 520i (E28) sedan in a tuner shop and put some personal touches on it, too. The car may look like a rust bucket falling apart, but it is actually a very capable daily driver.
Which was not always the case, by the way. In the beginning, the four-door Bavarian had rust-eaten fenders, partly decayed side skirts and undertray, and leaky inline-six block. The restoration got rid of all the real rust, leaving only the pretense. As for the flashy graffiti, it is actually a wrap.
Elsewhere, the ratty 520i rocks a sport exhaust system, dropped suspension, warm yellow headlamps, and fashionable 15-inch BBS wheels in the arches.
What’s there not to love?
