Special Concepts and the team of tuningblog.eu have ben working on a G30 BMW M550i lately, hoping to dial it up to 700 horsepower (522 kW). That upgrade is still in the works, so in the meantime, the guys decided to take care of some other aspects of the project.
The gloss-black sedan wound up with 20-inch 1001I wheels from the BMW Individual catalog, finished with a 3D effect on the spokes. Fitting them properly into the arches necessitated installing 12mm wheel spacers at the front axles and 15mm ones at the rear axle, as well as dropping the suspension height a little.
The body kit was cobbled together from JMS and Life Motorsport-branded aftermarket parts. It included an M4 GTS-style hood cover with optimized cooling vents and a carbon-fiber insert, a front bumper trim, air intake shrouds and a black radiator grille. Old side mirrors made room for modern F90 M5 ones, side sill extensions were installed, the door handles were trimmed with carbon and BMW M badges appeared on the fenders.
Wrapping up the work, the tuners mounted an aggressive rear diffuser on the car and put a small Maxton spoiler lip on the trunk lid.
Here’s waiting for the completion of the project!
