Customers in Japan will soon be able to order a BMW 5-Series 50th Anniversary Edition in sedan and wagon flavors.

The spinoff celebrates 50 years since the BMW 5 lineup became available on the market of Japan. Compared to the standard model (see video), the limited edition will be finished in blue with Nappa leather seats, the full M package, 20-inch wheels and a plethora of preinstalled premium options, as well as commemorative badging all around.

Customers will be able to choose from two available specs: 523d xDrive (sedan/estate) and 530e (sedan only).
