The new BMW 5-Series will be fully revealed to us before June 21, BMW Blog writes without mentioning any official sources. The production will allegedly begin in the fall and the first deliveries will be made in early 2024.
Car spotters have seen pre-production prototypes around for a while now, and the spy shots suggest the design will not be drastically different. Neither the sedan nor the wagon will have the two-tier headlights or the oversized radiator grille of the latest 7-Series.
The most important novelty in the 5-Series lineup comes in the form of all-electric i5 versions. The buyers will thus get to choose among petrol, diesel, hybrid and full-electric options.
According to BMW Blog quoting ‘insiders’, there will be at least two EV variants – a rear-wheel-drive one with 340 PS (335 hp / 250 kW) and an AWD one with 598 PS (590 hp / 440 kW).
