The next episode of Mission Impossible, titled ‘Dead Reckoning’, will feature a car chase scene in Rome, a city infamous for its unpredictable traffic and narrow streets. A trailer has now been posted online starring Tom Cruise, who sends all manner of cars into a controlled slide with just one hand on the wheel.
The upcoming movie, which also stars Hayley Atwell as Grace, revolves around two protagonists who are handcuffed to each other. This is why Cruise is forced to put his single-handed-driving skills to the test as he flees from the police and bandits.
The duo kicks things off with squeezing through the bottleneck streets of Rome on a BMW 5-Series lacking doors, and then switch to a Fiat 500. The latter, though, proves to be a real beast in disguise – check out the trailer, you may be impressed.
