Shortly ahead of launching its new 5-Series (see video) into production, BMW has previewed a package of M Performance Parts for it. As usual, the OEM accessories aim at highlighting the sporty character of the car while improving its performance. They will be available for all ICE-powered 5-Series cars and the all-electric i5.
The body kit is made from carbon0fiber reinforced plastic coated with transparent lacquer. It includes a front splitter, side skirts, a rear diffuser, a spoiler, mirror caps and antennae. Black stripes have also been put on the body.
The interior gets velour mats hemmed with leatherette. Other options include a leather key fob case and a trim for the gas tank door.
For the wheels, buyers can choose from multiple available designs ranging from 19 to 21 inches in diameter. Paying extra nets you performance brakes with ventilated rotors and red calipers.
