BMW continues its work on the wagon version of the new 5-Series. It is set to debut and go on sale in 2024 in Europe as the primary market, but also Japan and Taiwan.
The latest teaser pic reveals that the large family hauler has taillight signatures similar to those of the latest 3-Series Touring. BMW plans to ship the model with the same powertrain choices as the 5-Series sedan lineup (see video), which implies a wide selection of diesel, petrol, hybrid and BEV options.
Since all 5-Series wagons are based on the same architecture regardless of the powertrain, they will look and feel nearly identical to each other regardless of the bits under the hood.
