A BMW 503 custom-made 63 years ago for the Prince of Kuwait is on sale in Moscow, Russia right now for an asking price of 25 million RUB (307,500 USD). The seller claims it is in excellent condition.
The official production ended in March 1959 with just 413 units made in three years. However, the listing claims that BMW relaunched the lines in 1960 to piece together two more cars for well-off customers who could afford it. One of them was the Prince of Kuwait.
s such, the car is formally considered the last-but-one BMW 503 produced. It is commissioned in Russia with a single owner in the title throughout the entire period. Aside from cropping up at shows and thematic events, the car sits idle in the garage and is not used.
Power for the Bavarian grand tourer comes from a twin-carb 3.2-liter V8 rated at 142 PS (140 hp / 104 kW). The sprint time is not specified, but different estimations say this model could reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in 11–13 seconds on average. It hit its speed ceiling at 193 km/h (120 mph).
