New wheels, body kit and tech: BMW 640i Gran Coupe gets an upgrade in Taiwan

It is no secret that German tuners traditionally excel at customizing German cars. Apparently, the Taiwan-based car atelier EDO Tuning can perform the job just as well. Have a look inside, you’ll see.

The team worked with a BMW 640i Gran Coupe this time around. The car received an all-carbon body kit originally made by Japanese tuner 3D Design and a set of 21” HRE Performance S101 wheels.

There is more to this project than just some eye candy, though. Other upgrades – just to name a few – include a KW Variant 3 coilover suspension kit and a set of Brembo 20Z brakes complete with perforated discs and silver-tinted supports. The car also gained an FI Exhaust system with adjustable sound.

The stock engine received a boost to 400+ hp (300+ kW) via a chip tuning (BPM Sport Stage 2), a new carbon air intake system, a Wagner intercooler and new sports-grade catalysts.

EDO Tuning never mentioned the price of this custom BMW 640i Gran Coupe.
