Looks like we missed it when German firm Senner Tuning released a range of options for the BMW 640i (F12) this spring. The convertible gained new wheels and suspension alongside a sizeable performance upgrade.
Starting with the latter, the car leaves the factory equipped with a turbo six-cylinder engine good for 320 hp (239 kW) and 450 Nm (332 pound-feet) of torque. A simple ECU tune persuades it to deliver 379 hp (283 kW) along with 540 Nm (398 lb-ft), which is comparable with the level of the V8-wielding MBW 650i.
Moving on to the more aesthetic changes, the display car rides on mbDESIGN KV3.3 three-piece forged rims measuring 21 inches in diameter. Clad in Continental tires, the new wheels complement the understated exterior of the drop-top in just the right way. There is also a custom radiator grille and exhaust tips.
Tech-wise, this particular BMW 640i (F12) features a KW Variant 3 lowering kit, a sports-grade air filter, and a remote control module for automatic folding and unfolding of the roof.
