This red BMW 635 CSi coupe may be 35 years old, but it still managed to find a new admirer who handed over €185,000 for it a few days ago.
The ride was originally purchased in January 1985 and has since covered mere 428 kilometers, or 266 miles. Its owner put it into his garage and kept it there, making sure to perform timely maintenance and cleaning. As a result, the body and the leather interior with its sport seats still look like new.
The spec sheet lists multi-spoke wheels, power windows, an on-board computer, and power steering.
The BMW 635 CSi was in production from 1984 until 1989 – watch the video if you would like an overview. Its 3.4-liter V6 rated at 215 PS (212 hp / 158 kW) and 305 Nm (225 lb-ft) of torque worked in tandem with a five-speed manual transmission. The coupe needed 7.6 seconds to hit 100 km/h (62 mph) and maxed out at 225 km/h (140 miles per hour). Its unusual exterior design and kit warranted it the nickname Shark.
