BMW launches its own subscription service

Access by BMW – an online car subscription service developed by the German automotive manufacturer – has been launched in pilot mode in the state of Tennessee, U.S.A.

The subscription plan provides for a monthly payment upon which the end user receives a BMW car alongside with the right to switch to another one whenever and however often they choose to. The payment sum also covers all maintenance and repair costs, as well as the insurance.

Another similar service, Care by Volvo, has been active in North America for quite some time now. It offers a new XC40 SUV each year, plus maintenance, at U.S. $600 per month.
