BMW Motorrad has teamed up with Vagabund Moto to showcase one of the possible ways to customize your CE 02 eParkourer electric scooter. The result incorporates retro-futuristic styling cues in an otherwise sleek and modern-looking design.
It looks like the company doesn’t plan to mass-produce the BMW CE 02 x Vagabund specifically, but it will process custom orders for similar scooters. Aside from a bespoke finish, the example seen here features a custom front fender, a Teenage Engineering OB-4 portable speaker with built-in FM radio, and a skateboard rack that doubles as a footrest. The perforated box looking like another speaker is actually a battery pack, and the cylindrical “exhaust” tube is actually just an umbrella case.
Nothing has been said about the technical specifications. In its stock form unveiled a year ago (see video), the BMW CE 02 eParkourer comes equipped with a motor rated at either 5 or 15 horsepower and either one or two battery packs rated 1.98 kWh each. The top spec lets you sprint 0-50 km/h (0-31 mph) in 3 seconds flat and cover 95 km (59 miles) on a single charge. Prices in Germany start from a cool €8,500 before any customization work.
