French tuner BR-Performance has released a power upgrade for the BMW 7 Series (G11/G12) equipped with the N63B44TÜ2 V8 engine. Judging by chip tuning standards, the difference is enormous.
The pre-facelift version of the luxury sedan already has an impressive 450 hp (336 kW) along with 650 Nm (480 lbft) of torque under its command. Once upgraded, however, it ascends to the much more respectable 550 hp (410 kW) and 820 Nm (605 lbft).
The tuner offers the same upgrade for the latest LCI version as well, which “only” gets 530 hp (395 kW) and 750 Nm (553 lbft) of torque.
BR-Performance never bothered to tell us how much faster the BMW 7 Series goes with the freshly tuned ECU.
