BMW updated its flagship saloon in 2019 and is getting ready to user in a new generation in 2022. However, according to Automotive News Europe, we might see a pre-production version in a few months.
The Bavarian car manufacturer will allegedly show a ‘preview’ of the car at the IAA Mobility show, which moves from Frankfurt, Germany to Munich starting this year.
Along with showcasing the key design elements of the new 7 Series, the company may highlight some its platform-specific features. The new architecture lends itself best to EVs, but supports traditional ICE-based powertrains, too.
It is official that there will be an all-electric 7 Series in the lineup. Rumors insist that there could be as many as three different specs to choose from.
