2025 BMW 7-Series spied testing

BMW introduced the latest 7-Series generation in April 2022 and started production in June that year, so the model (see video) is arguably still fresh and doesn’t need a facelift. Still, according to CarBuzz posting these spy shots of an updated version, the company seems eager to refresh its entire lineup before unveiling the long-awaited Neue Klasse EVs.

The photos come from Spain and depict a couple of pre-production vehicles still wearing heavy camo. CarBuzz reckons that the new 7-Series will have the same overall body structure with redesigned front and rear. This may include the lighting (although the stacked headlights likely won’t go anywhere), both bumpers and the radiator grille. The way it looks, the giant dual nostrils at the front end that BMW has been recently infamous for might not make it onto the executive saloon after all.

The interior will likely do without major changes. Rumors point to new trimming materials and an overhauled infotainment system running the latest OS version on better hardware. That said, we probably won’t know for sure until the official premiere, which is expected sometime around 2026.
