The revived BMW 8-Series family will include sports cars in three different bodies. Firstly, in 2019, it will be presented "hot" BMW M8 Coupe coupe , the next will be exhausted M8 Convertible and M8 Gran Coupe in 2020.
According to unconfirmed information, the equipment of sports cars includes a 4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine with a power of more than 600 hp. With such power plant, acceleration of M8 to 100 km / h will take about 4 seconds, and the maximum speed will reach 300 km / h.
It is noted that the weight of BMW M8 coupe is about 1.5 tons due to the wide use of light materials. The four-wheel drive will be available as an option , the same basic version of the car will be rear-wheel drive.
The first prototype of BMW M8 appeared in the 90s of last century. However, until recently the project was frozen, not a single model from this family was launched into mass production.
