German luxury carmaker BMW has come out with a special version of its 8 Series coupe, called the First Edition and limited to just 400 production units. Prices will be announced later.
On the outside, the car sports a unique Frozen Barcelona Blue paintjob alongside new radiator grille inserts, 20-inch wheels and special exhaust tips. You may also choose to purchase the optional M carbon aero kit.
The interior space mostly uses genuine leather and Alcantara trimming. There is a plaque on the dashboard bearing the name of the series and the VIN number of the car.
The BMW 8-Series First Edition will ship in the range-topping M850i xDrive spec, which packs a 4.4-liter turbo V8 engine rated 530 hp (395 kW) and an 8-speed AGB. The car needs only 3.7 seconds to bolt from standstill to 100 km/h (62 mph).
