The BMW 8 Series Coupe & Convertible may seem huge at a first glance, but they are actually designed to offer maximum comfort and luxury for the driver and passengers, as well as enough space for all imaginable kinds of on-board systems and extras. Naturally, dimensions like these necessitate a suspension design that is strong and reliable enough to cope with the load.
This is what H&R doubtlessly had in mind when it released these lowering springs for the BMW 8 coupe and its open-top sibling. Once installed, they reduce the ground clearance by 30 mm (1.2 inches), enhancing the silhouette of the car and making it less prone to rolling during sharp turns. The company puts extra emphasis on the fact that the new springs do not affect your comfort even during prolonged road trips.
A full set costs €434. Pay an extra €45 to get wheel spacers if you would like to fine-tune the positions of the wheels in their arches.
