Manhart unveils BMW M850i with more torque than M8

Mahnart has released the MH8 600, a custom coupe with the BMW M850i as the starting point.

Exterior upgrades include 21-inch forged wheels with a matte black finish, carbon kit parts, and the atelier’s trademark highlights of dull gold. The ride height has dropped 30 mm (1.2”), and the interior stays stock except for the name plaque.

The main treat lies hidden under the hood. The 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 mill gets an upgrade for 100 hp (75 kW) and 140 Nm (103 lb-ft) of torque. The resulting performance amounts to 630 hp (470 kW) and 890 Nm (656 lb-ft), which is more than the 625 hp (466 kW) and 750 Nm (553 lb-ft) of the range-topping М8 Competition in stock condition.

There is no acceleration test data available, but we would expect the MH8 600 to sprint to 100 km/h (62 mph) shoulder-to-shoulder with the M8 (3.2 seconds).
