This M850i Coupe would not be the first police car by AC Schnitzer, but it is the first time the German tuner tackled this specific BMW. Let’s see what the result looks like!
The 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 received a boost from 530 to 620 PS (523 – 611 hp; 390 – 456 kW, respectively). The torque simultaneously went up 90 Nm (66 lb-ft) to 840 Nm (620 lb-ft) total. Elsewhere, the coupe landed with a sports exhaust system complete with carbon fiber tips, a suspension lowering kit (-30mm/1.2” front, -25mm/1” rear), and a body kit. The latter consists of a front splitter, fenders, side skirt extensions, a rear diffuser and a roof-mounted spoiler.
Crowning the project are 21-inch AC Schnitzer AC3 wheels, a light bar and a readily recognizable police car livery.
