This 700-PS Manhart convertible will ruin your hairdo faster than the competition

The BMW M8 Competition Coupe counts among the most agile sports cars in the German automaker’s portfolio and outside of it. The topless M850i forgoes some of that thrust in favor of comfort, but you can always ask Manhart to crank its power up to 11.

The tuning kit is called MH8 700 Cabriolet and includes upgraded turbos, a new intercooler, a sports air filter, and special wear-resistant transmission parts. Installing everything raises the power from 530 PS (523 hp / 390 kW) to 710 PS (700 hp / 522 kW). The torque jumps from 750 to 925 Nm (553 to 682 lb-ft).

An upgraded exhaust pipeline guarantees efficient disposal of hot gases and a new sound profile, while slammed suspension helps maintain stability in fast curves. The brakes remain OEM.

Elsewhere, the Manhart-tuned convertible boasts Concave One 20” wheels, a carbon-fiber aerodynamic kit, and a complete visual overhaul of the exterior and cabin in the tuner’s signature black and pale gold.

There is no mention of sprint times, but it doesn’t take a genius to figure out that arranging your hair BEFORE the ride is a futile endeavor.
