The E31 BMW 8-Series is heading into its fourth decade, yet people continue to love it for its timeless charms. At the SEMA show this fall, one particularly interesting tuned example showed up dressed in a complete Pandem body kit.
The car rolled off the assembly line like any regular BMW 850ci and was transformed into a show highlight within three months. The aero parts had to be tailored to fit its body curves, but the result proved quite worth the effort. Flared fenders all around, a front lip spoiler, longer side skirts and a fixed rear wing come together to create a rather appealing aesthetic – although we can imagine some purists shaking their heads.
19-inch BC Forged wheels wrapped in Toyo R888R tires fit nicely inside their new arches, especially so thanks to a height-adjustable air suspension system. Upmarket Brembo brakes were added at both axles.
A BMW M-inspired full body wrap rounds things off with style. As far as we know, things stayed stock inside and under the hood.
