The German car giant BMW has posted some first photos showing the new BMW 8-Series Coupe. The car, which is cladded roof to wheels in the mandatory test mule mascara, debuts sometime before the end of this year.
It is now being put to a series of trials at the Aprilia vehicle test track in Italy, famous for its unforgiving sharp curves. BMW is performing some conclusive steering and braking tests as well as gathering overall dynamic performance data. According to the company, the new 8-Series will pleasantly surprise those of us who dream about an extra-comfortable sports car.
Interestingly enough, the sports-oriented BMW 8-Series Coupe has been developed simultaneously with its regular version.
Another Bavarian vehicle, the BMW M8 GTE racing coupe, gets revealed this weekend as it enters the Rolex 24 At Daytona endurance race.
