The German automotive brand BMW has formally announced the forthcoming presentation of the four-door BMW 8-Series Gran Coupe at the Geneva International Motor Show. Regrettably, we only have a single teaser image of the car to go by right now.
Based on it, it appears that the new BMW 8-Series Gran Coupe looks like its two-door counterpart, just a little bit bigger. Industry professionals don’t have a uniform opinion on whether the vehicle that will premiere at the Geneva show is going to be a concept or a production-ready car. It’s most likely to be the top-performance, flagship model, at any rate.
The new BMW 8-Series Gran Coupe is expected to ship with 4WD and an updated 4.4L V8 with at least 600 hp at its disposal. It is going to be able to accelerate 0-100 km/h (0-60 mph) in three seconds or so.
