The new BMW 8-Series flagship coupe will be revealed to the wide audience on June 15, 2018, prior to the 24 Hours Le Mans. The GTE racecar will participate in the race immediately following the premiere.
We have already seen some early photos of the vehicle, but those weren’t too informative due to a thick layer of test mule camouflage.
According to certain industry experts, the new BMW 8-Series will come with a broad selection of V6 and V8 engines. Whether the performance car also gets an optional V12 is unclear at the moment; rumors persist that the German car maker plans to stop using these altogether.
