A reputable automotive newspaper has recently revealed leaked photos featuring a roofless modification of the BMW 8 Series. The vehicle was espied by a car enthusiast during a photo shoot in Scotland. It had no camouflage on.
The depicted car is called BMW M850i xDrive and comes with a 4.4-liter V8 engine capable of 530 hp (395 kW) and 750 Nm (553 lb·ft) of torque. The power unit is connected to an 8-speed automatic transmission and accelerates the vehicle 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 3.7 seconds. The series also ships with a 3.0-liter diesel V6 with 320 hp (239 kW), which achieves the same acceleration in 4.9s.
The BMW 8-Series M850i convertible features self-locking rear differential, high-performance brakes and active roll stabilization.
