German car manufacturer BMW has released images showing iNext, an all-electric crossover concept. The production vehicle should celebrate its official premiere sometime in 2021.
The battery-powered car is going to be longer than the iX3 and come with a pre-installed autonomous driving system. The company claims the top-spec trim will be capable of around 800 horsepower, but doesn’t disclose any kind of info about the base trim.
Depending on the chosen battery capacity, the car will offer a driving range varying between 450 and 700 km (280 – 435 mi).
The reveal event will take place on board the Boeing 777. The vehicle will first travel to New York, followed by San-Francisco, Beijing and Frankfurt.
BMW plans to release a grand total of 25 new all-electric and hybrid car models by 2025.
