BMW is running in leaps and bounds towards electrification. Its recent ad video titled ‘WE ARE M’ featured a high-end, quad-motor concept car, and it looks like it is already being tested on the streets – check out these images.
The exterior looks deceptively like that of the standard i4, perhaps because the vehicle is actually a test mule wearing i4 M50 bodywork atop a new powertrain. The fenders are distinctly wider to accommodate larger tires, and the nose flaunts a CSL-like grille – it remains to be seen whether the part actually has a cooling function or is installed purely for the aesthetic value.
BMW has said nothing so far regarding the power level of the M EV, but we expect it to exceed both the i4 M50 and the iX M60.
