The camouflaged BMW i7 keeps popping up on public roads every now and then, meaning that the testing phase in in full swing. The premiere still looks a year away, but the spec sheet has already begun to leak online.
According to Autobild citing anonymous sources, the electric flagship will come in at 650 PS (641 hp / 478 kW) and will use a battery as large as 120 kilowatt-hours, which should grant it up to 700 km (435 miles) of range. These look like serious top-of-the-line specs, but there is no confirmation on what version will deliver as much power as that.
Another report mentions a middling spec equipped with an 80-kWh battery and 536 PS (529 hp / 394 kW) total.
The official launch is set for 2022, with the BMW i7 set to be marketed as a year 2023 model.
