BMW i8 art car calls attention to the Ocean Cleanup project

BMW cars are instantly recognizable and enjoy steady market demand throughout the entire world. Perhaps this is why Milan Kunc – an artist from Poland – chose a hybrid-powered BMW i8 Roadster to base his next work upon. In keeping with the drivetrain choice logic, the art centers on environment preservation.

The art car is called “4 Elements”. Its right side is adorned with air and earth motifs, the left side is water-themed, and the rear is corresponds to the element of fire. There is a butterfly image on the hood cover, which symbolizes power metamorphoses in nature. Throughout its life, the butterfly starts as an egg, then hatches into a larva, which later transforms into a pupa and eventually becomes the flying moth we have come to admire.

The unique BMW i8 Roadster 4 Elements will soon embark on a journey across Europe and will ultimately be sold at an auction. The artist will redirect the money thus earned towards the Ocean Cleanup project to rid the World Ocean from waste pollution.
