Back in 2016, Japanese aftermarket company Energy Motor Sport released the EVO i8 styling kit for the BMW i8 roadster/coupe series. A couple years later, it followed up with an update to the kit, called The Dark Knight Project. Both packages used to be popular with the local tuner Eve.ryn. A few days ago, Energy Motor Sport released the third version of the kit, and Eve.ryn was quick enough to try it out on the opulent BMW i8s Roadster.
The so-called EVO i8s E.N.ARMY eDITION package now includes a brand-new front apron with enormous air intakes somewhat reminiscent of those on the Zenvo ST1, a front spoiler, side mirror caps, and massive wheel arches. The tuner made a move away from the edgy, angular wheel arches of the EVO i8 / The Dark Knight versions, making them round this time.
Moving on to the rear, there is a new apron complete with a diffusor, a huge GT rear wing made of carbon fiber, and a modest trunk spoiler lip.
The show car additionally sports a matte light green wrap that creates a pleasant contrast against the raw carbon parts. It rides on a set of matte gold multi-piece wheels clad in low-profile Pirelli P Zero tires.
