Swiss niche carmaker Micro Mobility Systems promised in 2018 that it would revive the Isetta supermini series by 2021. The Microlino EV has received 16,000 pre-orders since – but it looks like it has a competitor.
As it turns out, German company Artega has been working on the Karo-Isetta project, which you can see on the photos. Microlino’s rival is going to arrive faster, too – in April 2020, if everything goes according to plan.
The Karo-Isetta is also an EV, and it has around 200 kilometers (124 miles) of range. The Microlino will be available in two battery versions: 120 km (74 miles) and 215 km (133 miles). Both max out at 90 km/h (56 mph).
