The all-electric BMW iX is scheduled to hit the assembly lines in the second half of 2021, so let’s see what it brings to the table.
The entry spec will be getting 20-inch wheels, with 21- and 22-inch ones available at a premium. It will also feature a thermally insulated windshield, a Sky Lounge Roof, and an improved iDrive infotainment system. Harman Kardon audio will be included in the standard spec, while a Bower and Wilkins set will belong in a premium setup.
In addition to all of the above, the newcomer will apparently get two previously unannounced features named Personal CoPilot and Natural Interaction. We suspect that the former refers to a semi-autonomous driving system and the latter unlocks gesture-based control over certain in-car features.
