According to BMW Blog, the Bavarian automaker is planning an M version of the recently launched iX battery SUV.
The alleged newcomer called iX M60 will have 560 PS (552 hp / 412 kW) at its disposal. It should also benefit from tweaked suspension and a more aggressive M Performance styling.
The iX xDrive50 is the most powerful option right now at 500 PS (493 hp / 368 kW). It needs less than five seconds to launch itself to 100 km/h (62 mph) and offers up to 600 kilometers (373 miles) of range. Orders in the United States will open in June starting from $80,000.
