BMW launches the iX Configurator, revealing that the EV costs $106k+ maxed out

Motor1 noted that the all-electric BMW iX can already be configured online, so you can go there and check out the prices if you want it. Tick all the most expensive boxes, and you will be looking forward to spending $106,675 USD.

The base xDrive50 spec costs $83,200, but opting for the Sports package with darkened lights and 21-inch wheels adds $2,800 to that. Finishing the body in a non-standard color will set you back another $1,950.

The interior of the car can be trimmed with imitation leather, fabric or perforated natural leather, the latter option coming in at $2,450. However, it is the various accessories and driver aids that ramp up the price the most. For instance, there is the Premium package with a HUD, voice and gesture control support, a drowsiness alert system, a fake engine soundtrack for the all-electric powertrain, a 5G hotspot, luxury front seats, and more. The package costs $4,000.

Handing over another $3,400 net you a Bowers and Wilkins speaker set. This is not all, however: there is also a deluxe interior package, laser LED headlights, ventilated seats, and more. The whole adds up to the abovementioned $106,675 USD.
