Schwarzenegger plays Zeus in a BMW Super Bowl ad

In case you haven't seen it yet, Arnold Schwarzenegger appears as the Greek god of thunder in the Super Bowl commercial that BMW revealed this week.

In the short video, Zeus enters a café and orders coffee, but goes electric after the barista gets his name wrong multiple times. BMW accompanies the ad with a caption, “Something Electric is Brewing”, and a short description to the same effect. A link in the description opens the website dedicated to the BMW iX and i4.

Since introducing the iX M60 in June, the Bavarian automaker has been working on expanding its all-electric car lineup. In its M60 guise, the iX can output up to 610 PS (602 hp / 449 kW) and 1,100 Nm (811 lb-ft) of torque in Sports mode. In its normal daily driving mode, it still churns out respectable 532 PS (525 hp / 391 kW) along with 1,015 Nm (750 lb-ft) of torque. A 111.5-kWh battery gives it 450 kilometers (280 miles) of driving range.
