BMW has complemented the X1 SUV lineup with a new entry-level electric variant called iX1 eDrive20. It will go on sale in Europe this November priced from €47,900.
Unlike its peers, the car has only one electric motor that drives the front wheels with 204 PS (201 hp / 150 kW) and 247 Nm (182 lb-ft) of torque. It takes 8.6 seconds for it to reach 100 km/h (62 mph), and the top speed does not exceed 170 km/h (105 mph). A 64.7-kWh battery gives it up to 475 km (295 miles) of range.
The spec includes BMW’s own navigation system, a plethora of driving assists, a two-zone climate control, and an infotainment system powered by the BMW 9 OS. A single curved display on the dash combines the functions of the instrument cluster and the multimedia system.
