German premium car manufacturer BMW has finally revealed the technical details concerning the upcoming sporty BMW M850i xDrive Coupe. The vehicle gets an updated V8 engine with 500+ horsepower at its disposal.
More specifically, its powertrain will be able to produce up to 530 hp (395 kW) and 750 Nm (553 lb·ft) of torque. The next BMW M850i xDrive Coupe will also take advantage of an improved eight-speed automatic transmission, sports exhaust, active M (rear-axle) differential and a number of other performance features. Other options might include adaptive suspension with active roll stabilization and an advanced steering system, like in the BMW 8-Series which should premiere this summer.
The company said nothing about the acceleration performance of its updated BMW M850i xDrive Coupe, but one can safely assume the car will sprint 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in well under four seconds.
