Performance tuner mcchip-dkr published this video featuring a boosted BMW M2 (F87) Competition a few days ago. The car was pushed to 600 hp (447 kW) and 750 Nm (553 lbft) of torque. As it turns out, the German firm is happy to offer other aftermarket options for the model as well.
M2 owners may now opt for a Milltek sports exhaust system, assorted BBS wheels, and KW coilovers for adjustable ride height. If you wish, the tuner will even reprogram the way the transmission works to resemble that of the BMW M4 GTS supercar.
As for the engine upgrades, the abovementioned 600 hp / 750 Nm power kit is called “Stage 3” and necessitates installing better turbochargers and a Capristo downpipe. If it turns out too expensive for you, mcchip-dkr also offers the following options:
• Stage 2: 545 hp (406 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lbft) of torque;
• Stage 1: 522 hp (389 kW) and 653 Nm (482 lbft) of torque.
The BMW M2 (F87) Competition originally ships with a 3.0-liter inline-six engine equipped with dual turbochargers and rated at 416 hp (310 kW) and 553 Nm (408 lbft) of torque.
