G-Power’s 540-HP BMW M2 Competition kit costs only €1,400

If you own a BMW M2 Competition, we have some good news for you. Renowned German tuner G-Power has discounted its performance upgrade for the model to just €1,400. Order the Performance Software V1 S ECU kit now to persuade the stock 3.0-liter turbo-six to produce 540 hp (397 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb×ft) of torque, a substantial improvement over the standard 410 hp (306 kW) and 550 Nm (406 lb×ft).

The company does not provide any kind of acceleration-related statistics, but it is clear one way or the other that the coupe now sprints 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in under four seconds (stock: 4.2s).

If you crave even more power, consider the Stage 2 upgrade with its 680 hp (507 kW) and 860 Nm (634 lb×ft) of torque. Tuned to its limit, the ride will bolt to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.2 seconds and ultimately go past 330 km/h (205+ mph). This kind of performance has its price, of course: €20,000, to be precise.

G-Power warns that the Performance Software V1 S kit will cost €350 more starting from June 3, so act quickly if you want the discount.
