Less than a year ago, MTC Design & Automotive Ltd. launched its Vision GT body kit for the BMW 2 Series. The set was only compatible with the regular Number Two, but not with the M or M Competition. Today, the tuner finally unveiled the BMW M2 Competition VGT Widebody kit, addressing that issue.
Included in the package are radical-looking fender flares, voluminous side skirts rounded at the ends, brand-new front and rear aprons, a bulky rear diffuser, and a fixed rear spoiler. Fitted out like this, the sporty coupe looks a bit like the extreme 3.0 CSL Hommage R Concept that debuted at the Pebble Beach show four years ago.
The show car comes with the ‘Project Orange Pumpkin’ title attached, obviously owing to its Pumpkin Orange paintjob contrasting against BMW 788M standard wheels painted black.
Whether this particular BMW M2 (F87) Competition by MTC Design had anything done under the hood or inside the cabin, we do not know.
The tuner says it has already shipped three such cars; this is the fourth one, and the fifth one is already in the works.
