GP Infinitas BMW M2 Competition debuts with 700hp

GP Infinitas GmbH (which used to be known as G-POWER until a patent dispute put a ban on that name) has unveiled a twin-turbo upgrade for the 2020 BMW M2 Competition. The RWD coupe now boasts 700 hp (516 kW) and 900 Nm (664 lb-ft) of torque.

The Stage 4 kit includes expensive turbine chargers, an intercooler, a suitable exhaust system, and an ECU tune, among a plethora of other mods (the entire list is multiple screen pages long). Once installed, it turns the Bavarian urban compact into Mustang Shelby GT500’s archrival and a worthy contender of the Porsche GT2 RS. In numeric terms, it zaps from zero to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 3.2 seconds and maxes out above 330 km/h (205 mph).

If the asking price of €35,000 shocks you (it probably should, anyway), consider opting for one of the other, more affordable kits released under the G-POWER / Infinitas brand some time ago. These are called Stage 1, 1+, 2, and 3, and let you get 500, 531, 570 and 620 horsepower out of your 2020 M2 Competition, respectively.
