818-PS, Dodge-swapped BMW M2 heading to SEMA

The worldwide famous SEMA show starts in Las-Vegas next week, and among the countless tuning projects to be presented there, there will be this BMW M2 Competition Coupe powered by a massive Hemi V8.

As you probably know, the compact car usually has a three-liter inline-six engine under the hood rated at 410 PS (404 hp / 302 kW) and making a good use of the engine bay. Fitting a V8 worthy of a Dodge Challenger SRT Super Stock inside necessitates a complete overhaul of everything under the hood, and this project is no exception. On the plus side, it’s not every day that you see an M2 packing 818 PS (807 hp / 602 kW) and 956 Nm (705 lb-ft) of torque.

Elsewhere, the car makes use of six-piston front calipers and four-piston rear ones, 18-inch forged wheels finished in black, a new aerodynamic kit and height-adjustable suspension. The cabin has been stripped bare and only has one seat remaining.
