Whether the current-gen BMW M2 looks good or atrocious is a hotly debated topic these days, but at least no one denies it’s a frighteningly powerful car. German tuner Manhart takes things further with a tuning kit for the Bavarian coupe.
Included in the MH2 560 package is an all-carbon body kit changing the way the whole car looks – although we will leave it to you to decide if it’s for better or worse. There is a front lip spoiler, a fixed rear wing, side sill extensions, gill-like air openings in both bumpers and a rear diffuser with a third brake light in the middle. The company offers two suspension lowering methods: normal springs and coilovers, although it’s not clear which one is pictured in the demo gallery.
The main treat, however, is an engine tune that drives the output to a fantastic 560 PS (552 hp / 412 kW) and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft) of torque. Manhart claims this is accomplished by tweaking the ECU and replacing the exhaust system with a valve-controlled one. Those living in countries with less stringent emission laws may opt for an OPF delete and also replace the catalytic converter with a better-performing aftermarket counterpart.
