TRE comes up with a carbon aero kit for the new BMW M2

Most of you will have heard of the tuning company called HRE, but TRE is a new name – for us here at Formacar, at least. The company has just presented its low-drag body kit for the BMW M2 Coupe (G87).

The entire set is made from 2x2 Twill Weave Carbon Fiber and includes a front splitter, a hood cover, fender flares with displaced vents, and side skirts. The list continues with a large rear wing adjustable across three positions and a couple of rear bumper trims.

The company claims the kit was developed by a team of experienced car designers with expertise in BMW tuning. The car itself was 3D-scanned to ensure a seamless fit, and AutoCAD was used to design the individual parts. We are promised ‘superior aerodynamic performance’, but there are no numbers to support this claim right now.

It is also unclear when the first deliveries may be made, as the entire kit currently only exists in 3D rendered images. Still, it is advertised as ‘coming soon’.
