BMW confirms that a new M2 CS is in the works

BMW has formally announced the new M2 CS, a lightweight modification of the recently facelifted M2 Coupe (see video).

The images accompanying the announcement show a car wrapped in camo, but you can still discern a bold-looking body kit, wheels wrapped in Goodyear racing tires, and a roll cage in the cabin.

The new M2 is expected to become BMW’s entry ticket to motorsports, but it is still unknown when it may premiere.
