M Performance, a BMW-controlled car customization shop, has released new optical upgrades and performance parts for the BMW M2 Competition sports coupe.
Owners of the vehicle can now replace the stock hood cover with a more muscular-looking one or install a new carbon body kit including such integral parts as a diffusor, side skirts, a spoiler, a rear wing and a splitter. New radiator grille, door sills, rear view mirror holders and carbon air intakes are all available as well.
Interior parts released by M Performance include a new steering wheel with a racing-grade display on it, metallic pedal pads, Alcantara trimming and carbon decorative parts.
Performance-oriented parts include lowered suspension with adjustable shock absorbers, red four- and six-piston brake supports (the number of pistons depends on the axle), and 19” wheels that are 3 kg (6.6 lbs.) lighter than their standard counterparts.
Finally, all owners of the BMW M2 Competition may now take advantage of a telemetry-gathering system that can submit real-time information about the vehicle to their smartphones.
Prices will be named soon.
