Several cool sports cars have come to the Palm Beach International Raceway in Florida, USA, to give their utmost in a drag race: a Mercedes-AMG, a Dodge Charger, a C7 Chevrolet Corvette Z06, a Nissan GT-R and a BMW M3 (F80). The duel of the latter two was probably the most interesting.
The Nissan GT-R came to the start line in mostly stock condition, except for the E85 conversion kit to let it use a mix of 85% ethanol and 15% gasoline for fuel. The M3 received the same kit and much more. Mods include a better intercooler, an improved air intake system, a performance exhaust system and an engine boost kit for 700+ hp (522+ kW) total output. During a test run, the Bavarian sedan made a quarter-mile in 10.7 s and accelerated to 208 km/h (129 mph) as it did so.
