Widely known German automaker BMW continues work on the long-awaited novelty M3 G80. Information about it is thrown in extremely dosed, and, apparently, it's time for another "sudden" leak. On the Internet, data appeared that relate to the power unit of the new creation of the Bavarian concern.
Under the hood of the BMW M3 G80 will establish the good old inline twin-turbo 3.0-liter "six", which is currently placed on the actual version of the M3. Its "chip" to install the 48-volt system designed to provide on-board power electronics, electric boost, as well as a system of water injection into the combustion chamber. As a result, the engine output will increase to 500 horsepower.
The drive of the car will be complete. However, if the client wants, it can easily be turned back. The design of the body of the BMW M3 G80 will use light alloy materials, such as aluminum, magnesium and carbon.
